Spring in Sweden is a late bloomer

These first days of spring here in Sweden are kind of strange. The sun is strong already, the days are getting longer quickly, but there is still enough ice on the lake to go skating. And with temperatures below zero at night the last snow will be with us for a little while. Which makes us wait impatiently for the start of the golf season.

I took my bike today to visit two golf clubs in the vicinity, Bro Hof Slott and Bro Bålsta. I played the 9 holes at Bro Bålsta a lot last year and Bro Hof Slott will be my home turf at least for this coming season. So I took my camera with me and checked how the grass has been doing underneath all that ice and snow this winter. Looking pretty good, especially at Bro Hof Slott, now we only have to wait 3 or 4 more weeks.
